At Kupfer & Associates, we made a choice years ago to approach residential real estate in the same manner as we handle our other practice areas as opposed to cutting the level of service and corresponding legal fee to compete with other firms that approach residential real estate practice on a commodity basis.

Our approach to representing clients in residential real estate matters is different from other firms that have extremely high volume practices which depend almost exclusively on residential closings. While those firms are able to offer lower fees due to their use of legal assistants and junior associates to handle almost all of the work including most of the client contact, Kupfer & Associates handles residential real estate matters at the same level of care and attention to detail that it provides to clients on commercial real estate and large corporate matters. Residential real estate clients deal directly with a senior attorney, are taken through the process in an informed manner and have the comfort that, if anything out of the ordinary occurs in the transaction, our attorneys are fully capable and experienced in handling it. While this causes our fees not to be competitive with the lower end of the residential real estate attorney fee spectrum, we appeal to clients who are looking for a higher level of service, responsiveness and experience than is normally provided at firms that compete for residential real estate business based upon price.
